Privacy & Data
Haum is a private home dashboard. We collect only what the app needs to run, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we store
- Your home name, location, a hashed login password, and the account email you use for verification and password recovery.
- Family member profiles you add (names, ages, fitness levels, injuries, dietary needs).
- Garden, meal, exercise, and meditation content you create — including photos you upload.
- Email addresses you choose to send grocery lists or meal plans to.
Where it goes
To generate plans and content, some of this data is sent to third-party services that process it on our behalf:
- AI providers — to generate meal, exercise & meditation plans, analyze garden photos, and produce audio narration. Your family profile, preferences, and uploaded photos are sent for processing.
- An email delivery provider — to send grocery lists and meal plans to addresses you choose.
- Hosting, database & storage providers — to run the app and store the data above.
Health & children's data
Exercise and meditation features can involve health-related and children's information. Only add details you're comfortable processing through the services above, and avoid adding data about children under 13 unless you are their parent or guardian.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your home and all of its data at any time from Settings → Delete home on the dashboard. This removes your home record and every garden, meal, exercise, and meditation entry tied to it.
